This hotel, encountered by chance during visits in 2012 and 2014, serves as both a workplace and a forced home for women who earn a living through sex work. Georgia’s economic fragility transforms the notion of “home” into a space marked by hopeless waiting and profound despair. This body of work explores an existence where boundaries blur, and identity and space intertwine—where captivity and solidarity stand side by side.
